Private practice working with older teens, adults, and couples in Bellevue, Nebraska.
I believe we all possess the ability to make our lives better. 20 years ago, I started working in the human service field providing direct care, therapy, and mental health services. My range of experience includes in-patient treatment with children and adolescents, in-home therapy and skill building with families, and clinical therapy with individuals of all ages. I have worked with some of the leading organizations in the Omaha/Council Bluffs area, counseling diverse populations and diagnoses.
Since everyone has their own unique personality and story, I prefer an eclectic approach to therapy which utilizes a variety of techniques and approaches. I enjoy being creative, often incorporating art, animals, and media tools tailored to the client’s needs. I like to talk, quick to laugh and joke, and love being a therapist.
I’m a local, having graduated from Bellevue West back in the days when Southroads was still considered a shopping mall with a movie theater. I also obtained my graduate degree from Bellevue University after attending college in Omaha (Creighton and UNO). In 2018, I decided it was time to finally venture into the world of private practice. I opened Monif Mental Health LLC and have enjoyed being part of this community.
